You do not need to reapply and you will receive a new email or letter confirmation when a message has been arranged.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Please note that due to a large backlog of applications, there may be a delay to the processing and delivery of congratulatory messages.\u00a0Messages will be delivered as soon as possible, but the Anniversaries Office is unable to specify a date at this time.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Thank you for your patience and understanding.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The delivery of these messages is arranged by the Anniversaries Office at Buckingham Palace, continuing a tradition which goes back to 1917.<\/p>\n<p>Cards are sent to those celebrating their 100th and 105th birthday and every year thereafter, and to those celebrating their diamond wedding (60th), 65th, 70th wedding anniversaries and every year thereafter.<\/p>\n<h2>Who is eligible for 100th birthday cards and how do I apply?<\/h2>\n<p>Only current citizens of His Majesty\u2019s Realms (countries where The King is Head of State) or UK Overseas Territories are eligible to receive messages.
