Tim Culham

We would like to congratulate Tim Culham who has been appointed as a Deputy Lieutenant for Berwickshire . His appointment was advertised in The Edinburgh Gazette on 12th February 2019. Tim lives in Greenlaw has been a self employed Financial Adviser since 1988. He has been closely involved with Greenlaw giving his support and fund raising skills to the benefit of the Church and Greenlaw Festival.

He is an Elder of the Church of Scotland, a committee member of the Berwickshire Agricultural Society and Chairman of the Berwickshire Hunt. He and his wife, Pippa ,have given dedicated service to the community of Berwickshire and we are delighted to welcome him to the Berwickshire Lieutenancy.

Harry Frew

Harry Frew was appointed Vice Lord Lieutenant of Berwickshire on 31st January 2019. Harry has been a Deputy Lieutenant since 2015 and lives at Kirkbanny Farm, Foulden with his wife Trish. Harry is a farmer and the Managing Director of Cheviot Trees Ltd., one of the UK’s major forestry nurseries. He is heavily involved in the UK and European Forest Nursery Trade associations.

A keen sportsman, he is regularly involved in supporting, promoting, fundraising for and sponsoring local sport – on both sides of the Border. A long-time member of Manderston Cricket and Berwick Rugby, and a past player of most sports, Harry actively encourages youngsters to participate in any sport, at any level. He is heavily involved in the local community and is a trustee of the King George V Playing Fields at Foulden.
