Harry Frew

Harry Frew was appointed Vice Lord Lieutenant of Berwickshire on 31st January 2019. Harry has been a Deputy Lieutenant since 2015 and lives at Kirkbanny Farm, Foulden with his wife Trish. Harry is a farmer and the Managing Director of Cheviot Trees Ltd., one of the UK’s major forestry nurseries. He is heavily involved in the UK and European Forest Nursery Trade associations.

A keen sportsman, he is regularly involved in supporting, promoting, fundraising for and sponsoring local sport – on both sides of the Border. A long-time member of Manderston Cricket and Berwick Rugby, and a past player of most sports, Harry actively encourages youngsters to participate in any sport, at any level. He is heavily involved in the local community and is a trustee of the King George V Playing Fields at Foulden.
